The products of Farassan are presented under the trade name of “Faratec”. These products can be used in potable water transfer, sewage collection networks, irrigation and  sea water intakes. Due to their resistance against corrosion, these products are the best choice for transferring corrosive fluids. Farassan has recently designed and manufactured “fire retardant” GRP Faratec pipes; an ideal choice for the fire fighting lines especially on the oil rigs.

Farassan Co. is an ISO 9001 certified company as well as ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 and has received the Crystal Award of EFQM of Iran in 2007, 2008 and 2009. Farassan has also obtained the qualification of TUV of Germany (quality of products) and WRAS of the UK (approved product for potable water transfer).

The production range of Farassan GRP pipes is up to 3000 mm in diameter and the pressure class of 1 to 32 bar. Farassan Products are complying with ASTM and AWWA standards as well as the related sections of DIN and BS. They are suitable for both above ground and buried applications and manufactured in both Metric and Imperial systems.

So far, more than 3,000 kilometers of Farassan pipes of various diameters have been used in various fluid transmission projects throughout Iran and other countries.
